My (Aspire E5-551G, Windows 8.1)'s fan stopped working

The fan works fine when updating BIOS(currently at version 1.15 the last and latest update when I go to ACER's website) so i know the fan has power and works as it should I've also cleaned my laptop recently but when booting up windows it just stops. It turns on for a few second then just stops. my laptop works perfectly fine but without the fan it stores so much heat so i can't use it for too long. This community is my last resort before i go and have it repaired. I'm just asking for advice or if anyone has similar experience and fixed their problem.
