ACER A515-51 HDD cable hook-up

Once again I come for some help when I thought I had it figured out. I am trying to add an internal Solid State Hard Drive in an ACER A515-51-423X. I ordered and received the cable and caddie. I wasn't sure how to install the cable. The motherboard only had what looked to be a small spot where a cable might be pushed onto. So I pushed the board end of the cable over what looked to be the connector. I then installed the hard drive with the caddie but when I turned on the computer the hard drive was nowhere to be found. Am I supposed to do something to help the computer find the drive? Do you think the connector may be loose? Why can't I see the Hard drive?

Is hdd appearing in the uefi-bios info tab and have you tried converting hdd to gpt?

I didn't know what all of this meant but I studied it and through discovery figured out what you said and got it fixd!! It was already in gpt so that was taken care of. Thanks
