No, it used to be there when I was trying to fix error 43 and replace the memory bank. Never checked this when had no luck replacing the memory bank. And I don't recall what the factory-installed firmware was.

To clarify, the above screenshot shared is taken from the forum. The one shared below is a snapshot of my BIOS. No it's not detected in the device manager which is why I checked BIOS, and found GPU to be unknown.

Ahan thanks. Today I tried doing nvflash but found out I am missing gpu entirely, even in BIOS now. Did some research and found the same issue over the forum and reason being bad VCC, so I am thinking of replacing it first just have to find what VCC is and then order it from aliexpress. Is there any chance you can point…

I am facing the same issue. Were you able to resolve the issue? If yes please let me know how.

Thank you very much for your reply and congratulations. From your reply, I understand that you are now using vBios: 90.06.59.00.73 and haven't done any core reballing and just replaced the memory chips. Is that correct?
-
Ahan sure. I will be waiting for your reply.

Had it been an Intel PCH issue, wouldn't it make the laptop not output display at all? Currently, I have been using the laptop on intel gpu so I can negate the possibility of Intel PCH being bad. But hey I am not a technician, I could be wrong. Also, please do update me when you are able to solve the issue.

Hi, I did the same, tried mats/mods and the report suggested I had corrupted the A0 bank, replaced it, laptop recognized gpu, and it worked fine until I tried to run Valley to stress test the gpu and it failed again. NWR suggested getting the core reballed as I have been watching his videos for quite a while now and he…

It was my own own post on reddit that's when I got the reply and tried searching about it. A single search lead to many other. Link to reddit post

Yeah that's what I thought.

I read on some thread that rtx 20 series had some factory defacted microns that goes bad overtime, specifically those that were manufactured before 2019. I am not sure if that's the case.
-
No, it is not solved.
-
Sorry mate for late reply. It was never solved. Using it as it is.
-
Hey @nicorewaru , Have you had any luck solving this issue? Unfortunately, I too am in the same shoes and had no luck since last october.

Hey JackE, no luck. Can I send my laptop to acer's repair center in Malaysia? It was originally purchased in US and a reseller sold it to me in my country as we don't have repair center here, I have to send it all the way to Malasia just to get it repaired, not sure how much will it cost and whether it be worth all the…

No it's not working. Tried nvidia driver from acer's page, clean installed latest drivers from nvidia website, tried driver from windows update. And I have been doing this from last 4 weeks, with different versions of windows 10, and windows 11 and even ubuntu. And Acer's live support is of no use.
-
Alright, I clean installed windows 10 and still had no luck accessing recovery options by pressing alt + f10.
-
Yeah I can try that but what we're trying to achieve here? If that's to get the troubleshoot screen, can't we access that from restarting the windows by holding down the shift key?
-
Hey Jack, same result, the window boots up normally. Can I ask what we are trying to achieve here? I must say while installing the windows, I formatted the whole drive as it was one of the suggestion I so there isn't any recovery drive.
