I have the SpatialLabs View Pro model and could install TrueGame just fine.

You have to launch the game in normal mode (not from TrueGame) and then reset your graphic and video settings to "default". Exit the game and launch it now from TrueGame. It should work fine.

I had the same issue with Forza 5. This is what I did to fix it: Run the game in 2D mode (not from TrueGame, but from Steam / XBox Game Pass) Go to the Settings in the main menu and reset both Graphics and Video options to default. Exit the game Now load the game from TrueGame and it should work OK with no issues

TrueGame got updated to version 0.7.71.0 yesterday I can confirm that Quake and Serious Sam 4 are working OK now, I don't know about No Man's Sky as I don't have that game

As I understand, TrueGame compatibility with those two games got broken after their latest update a few weeks ago. There will be TrueGame update later in December that will fix this.

Different software licenses are included on the Pro model. If you only want to play games and watch movies, all you need is the regular model. For content creation, you'll want the Pro model (Model Viewer plug-ins for Autodesk applications and other software, Unreal Engine developer tools, etc.)

The only difference is the VESA mount screw holes on the back on the Pro model

If you press Alt and "-" or Alt and "+" you will adjust the 3D intensity on any game that uses TrueGame
