• Yes, I'm aware of this difference between models, but for me Thunderbolt 4 should be able to make the connection with the displayport. In the A517-55 datasheet, I find this:

• The symbol next to the usb-c socket (on the rear) is a lightning bolt. There's nothing else. Apparently, this is the symbol associated with Thunderbolt 4.
