I have a PO3-655 even though the serial number is recognised by Acer as a PO3-650. PredatorSense V4 will not work with it - blank data. PredatorSense V3 works fine. I am on Win 11 24H2 and PredatorSense (V3) works without issue. I am on the latest BIOS (worked with all previous BIOS).

I use DiverMax, Driver Boster, and now Driver Easy Yep, that will cause all sorts of issues with driver updates :)

Easy Driver or Driver Easy. The latter is well known to pick wrong drivers, attach malware, bloatware etc. These driver updating tools are well worth staying clear of from personal experience. Go to the manufacturer of the computer first and if no luck, the manufacturer of the device. I own a PO3-655 and the driver is…

12 months in and has not reinstalled. I'm currently on Windows 11 24H2. I've also removed most of the other Acer bloatware and it has not returned. I also disabled all of the Acer scheduled tasks apart from PredatorSense which I use.

Completely AGREE. It also failed miserably getting updates that were listed in the driver section. I have managed to uninstall it however.

Just installed latest BIOS. R01-A4. Installed without issue despite an error forcing BIOS to default settings. INTEL Microcode 0x12B update for the Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPU issue

Just installed latest BIOS for my PO3 655 (same as for PO3- 650) - no issues. R01-A4 INTEL Microcode 0x12B update for the Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPU issue

Note, the microcode update for Intel 13/14th gen is for voltage spike issues - nothing to do with system temps.

No, BIOS updates are model specific. I was just saying Acer have started adding the update for models. Also, do not apply Microsoft FW updates (ones that often appear under the Advanced Optional tab). That causes all sorts of issues.

Already released for my PO3 655 Microcode BIOS fix has been pushed to the support page for my PO3-650 (PO3-655). MCU 0x129 update for the Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPU issue.

Yes, when they installed the new RTX4060. They couldn't explain why Ver 4 would not work. This is why I thought I'd ask the community.
-
Tried Ver 4 again since the new BIOS update was installed. Ver 4 still does not detect any sensors or fans so back to Ver 3. Both versions are listed on my product page.

The first RTX 4060 was marked dead by Acer Service and replaced. I’m not going to start messing swapping out GPUs with a rig under warranty.

Nothing has changed in the environment in which the desktop was working fine for almost a year. However, BIOS was updated to most current at request of Acer recently. They reflashed the BIOS again and also did a “software fix”. Very little detail in the repair document. Service identified faulty video card (dead). Maybe as…

I told them to call back tomorrow as I will think about options overnight. Given they failed to repair anything, I may just organise local repair and pay for it myself.
-
Plugged in and same issue so has to go back again. They replaced the video card, reset BIOS and applied a “software fix”.

Computer was apparently shipped back today. No shipping notice or case update. I asked for case update a few times with the comment case was closed but no other info. We were out when it arrived so it was taken to a depot. Terrible communication from Acer and I don’t even know if work was done on it,
