Well, if the manufacturer says so, who am I to say otherwise :D Quick question, do I have to press the power button for 5 seconds after removing the battery to totally drain the system of residual electricity?

Wasn't that the case with AN515-53?

I have the anti-static wristband, it's just that I felt the battery connector is too delicate to be messed with. What's more, the AN515-53 had service panels to upgrade RAM and storage - disconnecting the battery wasn't necessary back then... what changed with the AN515-54 that made disconnecting the battery a necessity?

There is, Download CPUz https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html Install CPUz Open CPUz Go to "SPD" Tab Find the "Part Number" Google the "part Number" and voila, you can get a RAM card of the same brand or you can match the specs of the existing RAM and find a new RAM that is 100% compatible

Bring up my post, BUMP

That's just the thing, it looks so delicate - I'd rather leave it as it is if it isn't much of an issue to do so. After all, AN515-53 had service panels - one couldn't disconnect the battery even if they wanted to before replacing/upgrading RAM cards and NVMe/SATA SSDs.

I don't think you can, AFAIK the HDMI port has to be hardwired to the GPU, be it integrated or dedicated.

Ah, that's one nagging feeling off my mind. Thanks, Jack!
