I have PH317-54 I am in Canada does this still works? I had PH315-51 back then but got a replacement and kept the same Ac Adapter.

there aren't new bios updates since like 2020

alright i received a new letter from AliExpress very nice it's now fixed. So now sometimes I still get the double typing so you would suggest replacing the whole keyboard? Maybe the wet wipes ****** my keyboard up it's not actually that wet tho so I hope it's not that. [Edited comment to delete sensitive information]

no the external keyboard works fine fine fine!

a lot of keys sometimes its the k sometimes its the o. I think it's like any key sometimes i type "like" and it types "likek" so its double typing even after another letter... if that helps.

I don't have a warranty as this computer was already a replacement pc from a defective one that was on warranty so they told me i have no warranty anymore.

I might just ask this as another question if it doesnt get answers here

Also my keyboard tend to double type sometimes is there a fix or i need to replace the whole keyboard?

yeah im moving to asus if i wanna buy a new gaming laptop.. well we'll see 

i called today i'm sending it monday I said it could be my ssd because i get "unexpected store exception" bsod so he's gonna check that also they are gonna redo the thermal paste so that's great. will keep you posted after the repair

Honestly I bought a cooling pad and its still throttling... I might just return it for repaste tbh

do it man its the worst laptop iv ever had throttles so hard i cant even play league in low details without droping fps to like 5

its not the touch pad its just throttling i guess

dude I have been getting all the bluescreens possible me too! i returned it many times

Theres no fix to that it was happening to me too for about 1 year I put to sleep lights stays on fans stays on and u must hard shut down what i did was sent back to repair, they changed the battery and motherboard and since then it never ever did it.

It works with your SNID SERIAL NUMBER, i bought mine off amazon and when I had a problem i went on acer website repair and had to enter the Serial number and they had the warranty there. try it out and tell me more
