I disgaree with 94 spikes being normal I can play new games at 144 without my cpu going above 75.....For some reason my guide got closed.....but what I do is undervolt and set my turbo throttle limits to lower than default If you want help doing this LMKfwiw I run triple a games at high setting @ 144FPS soooo.....

What I do and everyone disagrees for some reason but works for me without seeing performance loss is to set my turbo limits lower than default....Yeah obviously I Get a better benchmark with throttle limits set higher but still im playing latest AAA games at 144fps on high setting on a 1920x1080....so works for me.....

might be obvious but I overlooked it for a few games of cod CW this morning. I had forgotten that I disconnected my monitor recently and it was set to 1920x1080 60 quick fix just navigate over to your nividia control panel and make sure your specific resolution with whatever hz your monitor is....

Like you cant save it or you need to open throttle stop each time you boot up the computer because if is the ladder you can always set up throttle stop to open via task scheduler.....

Do you have cool boost enabled? I believe when cool boist in enabled fans will always spin, when disabled fans should shut off.

HDMI 2.0 can support 144hz@1080 as long as the monitor is capable of 144 hz over hdmi

NO NOT GOOD AND NOT NORMAL Considering the age of your laptop I would suspect clogged fans an a combination of it recesntly being updated to bios 1.07+ which is overvolted

Hey @RamRaw no sorry I`m running 1080 not 4k so I can not ne to much help here, but not sure why they wont work fine at 60hz

Turbo button will run your fans at max speed and also overclock your GPU

What version HDMI ? hdmi 1.4+ can can do 144hz
