I did something like that. I installed the old hardrive and the new SSD in my desktop to transfert the image from the old hardrive to the new SSD. After that I installed the new SSD with the image on in my laptop but this one don't want to start.

Yes I transfered the data with both software "Aomei Backupper" and "EaseUs todo backup". I also tried to start with a Kingston SSD but my Laptop did not start and I can't see the SSD in the Bios. I saw that there is an earlier bios version (1.4) for my Laptop but Acer dont tell us what this version improve.
