Incompatibilité carte mère et carte graphique

Bonjour,

J'ai installé une nouvelle carte graphique dans mon ordinateur. Malheureusement elle ne fonctionne pas...
A priori, il me faudrait une version plus récente du BIOS.

La carte mère est une ACER H61H2-AD avec un Core i3 2120, le BIOS est un AMI APTIO et la version la plus récente proposée par le fabriquant est la P01-A1... du 18 mai 2012.

Existe-t-il une version plus récente ? Pour info, la carte graphique est une Geforce GTX 1650. Ai-je espoir de pouvoir la faire fonctionner avec ou la carte mère est trop ancienne ?

    Les dernières cartes vidéo nécessitent un emplacement x16 3.0 pci. C’est pourquoi il n’est pas compatible. Vous devez rechercher une ancienne carte vidéo pour fonctionner.

    Quel modèle EXACT de votre ordinateur?
    D'après sa description, le problème n'est pas le BIOS, mais la prise en charge de tout le matériel.
    Commençant que ce processeur goulot d'étranglement du GTX1650

    L'ordinateur est un Packard Bell imedia S2870. La plaque sur le boitier indique ceci : "iMedia Si34G1TU01  601010098 (iMd S2870_H).
    En regardant à nouveau la carte mère, j'ai trouvé la mention "ACER INC. 15-Y61-011000 H61H2-AD Y61730 00". Le support du fabricant envoie directement sur le site d'ACER.

    J'ai bien conscience que le processeur est ancien... mais il donne toujours satisfaction.

    Lors du démarrage, aucun signal video n'arrive à l'écran, ni via la carte graphique, ni via le chipset integré. Il y a juste un "bip" toutes les 30 secondes environ. Après 5 ou 6 minutes, on entend l'OS démarrer (mais toujours aucun signal à l'écran).

    Je pensais qu'un Bios plus récent me permettrait quelques réglages supplémentaires. Il semblerait que modifier des paramètres lié au port PCI marcherait pour certains...

    Packard Bell a été acquis par Acer en 2008.
    Ce GPU souffrira de nombreux goulots d'étranglement dans cet ensemble de matériel.
    Avez-vous vérifié que votre source d'alimentation est prise en charge pour alimenter le 1650?

    L'alimentation d'origine de 220 W est tombée en panne il y a quelques mois. La nouvelle fait 550 W, elle est théoriquement suffisante.

    Votre ordinateur possède-t-il un port x16 pcie? Si c'est le cas, même si vous le faites, il est possible que la carte mère ne soit pas compatible avec le gtx1650.

    Oui, il s'agit bien d'un slot PCI Express x16 (2.0).

    Pensez vous que je devrai acheter une carte graphique plus ancienne ? J'ai peur d'avoir encore un problème de compatibilité...

    Effectivement... je pensais que la version 3.0 était quand même compatible avec la 2.0 vue qu'il s'agit juste d'une meilleur bande passante.
    La boite de la Geforce ne précisait pas cela, mais parlait juste de PCI Express 16x...

    Je vais essayer de trouver un modèle plus ancien...

    PCI Express 16x 2.0 . A priori ça s'arrête à la génération des GTX 5XX ... Comme gtx 560 TI,  gtx 570, 580 ,590 .. Vu les niveaux  de consommation de ces cartes, pas certain qu'une alimentation 500 W suffise... Et comme ces cartes ont 10 ans, les performances ne seraient pas fantastiques ,  par exemple une gtx 580  reste bien en dessous d'une petite gtx 1050 , à peine mieux qu'une gt 1030 ... De telles consommations ( + de 200 W rien que pour la carte) pour ces performances la ça ne vaut peut être pas le coup ..
