You can pair Bluetooth devices like speakers, headsets or gaming controllers to your Chromebook. Use the instructions below to pair a Bluetooth device.
How to pair a Bluetooth device to your Chromebook
- Click on the Time in the lower right corner, then select Settings ⚙.
- Make sure Bluetooth is On.
- Click Pair new device and your computer will begin searching for devices to pair.
- Turn on the device you want to pair and make sure it is in pairing mode. If it's not in pairing mode, press and hold the Pair button on the device. Your device should now show up in the list of Available devices.
- Click on your device name to pair it.
How to unpair a Bluetooth device from your Chromebook
- Click on the Time in the lower right corner, then select Settings ⚙.
- In the Bluetooth section, click on the device name that is paired.
- Select the device name in the section titled Currently connected.
- Click on the Forget button to unpair the device.
