Colored lines of pixels strobing around on screen

Hey y’all. Just got my G9-793, it’s refurbished by AcerRecertified, bought thru bestbuy. Immediately on boot up, screen has weird little lines about two inches across, stacked in columns across the screen of different colored pixels . Moving the cursor or moving program boxes around the screen makes the lines change position/ disappear in some spots and appear in others. So it isn’t just a ton of weird dead pixels.  I have updated display drivers through the Nvidia program, it seems the computer is failing to recognize the GTX 1070. Predator sense can’t find a GPU temperature, Windows sees the screen as 64Hz (weird, would think 60 or 75, should be 75), and dxdiag has no manufacturer or model in display tab. Before I go a try to exchange it, anything I can try?

Update to this, Windows is disabling the GPU due to an error (code 43). Driver from 12/15/17 is installed, I’ve installed the newest one from 12/20 and it installs, pc restarts, and I’m left at the 12/15 driver again.

It looks like graphics memory is defective, better RMA it ASAP.

Was able to confirm that this was a hardware problem with the GPU, returned to bestbuy and re ordered straight from Acer. Got it a hell of a lot cheaper this way anyways so I guess it all works out lol
