Problemas con el monitor y la BIOS/UEFI

Compre un monitor acer ed242qr 75hz. El problema es que no da ningun tipo de imagen hasta que no se inicia windows, ni salen las letras estilo MS2 de cuando carga el equipo ni da señal de imagen cuando entro en la BIOS, para ello tengo que utilizar un monitor antiguo y me resulta muy molesto ¿ alguien sabe alguna solución?

PD: He intentado cambiar la resolución en windows pero no importa puesto que ponga la resolucion que ponga es para cuando se inicia el windows no antes.

    Some notebooks allow the user to switch the display inside the bios by pressing the fn + f5 keys. For example: on my dell n4050, when I enter bios, if I press fn + f5, I can switch displays, but the same procedure I can't do on my an515-51-75kz.

    Gracias pero no quiero abrir el monitor, si esa es la solución para el monitor no deberia estar en venta para pc

    ¿Has intentado presionar fn + f5 dentro de la BIOS? Algunas computadoras portátiles como Dell, por ejemplo, permiten al usuario cambiar monitores en su propia BIOS.

    Ok En la BIOS de la placa base Asus, debería haber una opción para cambiar el gráfico externo o interno.
