  • Problem solved by downgrading to BIOS version 1.04 and upgrading sequentially to version 1.05 and finally version 1.06. Over.
  • You could uninstall Acer Quick Access to remove DustDefender, which is programmed to automatically clear out dust every 3 hours or try installing a newer version of the Intel Chipset Device Software. Good luck!
  • Apply a small amount of 70% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol to a folded sheet of paper towel and wipe gently.
