  • Every once in a while, mine does the same thing. I hold the volume up button and the power on/off button down for a count of 20, then release both. Then I press the power on button for a count of 3, and it powers on. After doing this some number of times, my Acer One 10 begins working properly. Since this has happened to…
  • How do you know it is turned on with the blank screen? I would try holding down the volume up button and the on/off button for at least 20 seconds, and then just press the on/off button. I have no idea why this has worked for me. I no longer shut down the system, just restart it now and again.

  • I was able to start my system by holding down the volume key and the power switch - but it seems I have to do this everytime. Isn't there some kind of fix. I have had the system for almost a year, and this just started happening. Since the system does eventually start up, it can't be a hardware issue, right?
