There is no air intake screen, and no fan. From what I recall the es1-131 is supposed to cool via convection. And no real dust at the moment as this laptop is only 3 months old. As I said before, the beep occurs intermittently while in the OS and not during post. Happens in both windows and linux, so I'm assuming it's not…

Went back to the factory ram and still the same issue. How would I go about checking if it's the cmos battery? disconnect the main battery for an hour or so and see if it still keeps the settings? I should also mention that the beep isn't during bios. It's just randomly while the comptuer is running.
