and yes I also tried doing it the acer way of doing it and the microst way by typeing in search recovery and followed those steps to create it. here a screen shot of the drive d files. maybe I can try putting the usb drive in one of the 2.0 usb ports ?

I press the windows icon + Q key, typed recovery, clicked acer recovery management, clicked create factory default backup, copy content from recovery partition to the usb drive, it formatted it, copied over. when it was done coping everything over at the end of it had asked do I want to delete the recovery file that was in…
