  • In windows10, from home screen click on the search magnifying glass on task bar, type settings, on next screen click on "change wifi settings" then on right hand side of next screen click on line "show available networks"...what do you see there...anything?
  • I recently saw that my home network was not configured to allow sharing. What seemed to be happening was, when my son entered the house (literally), my wifi would drop out. After allowing sharing, problem went away. These settings are in advanced sharing settings, file and printer sharing I believe.

  • Thanks to philetus' recommendation, although unable to see a microsoft update or an Elan update recently, I uninstalled ACROBAT READER that had been installed a few days ago.
