  • Reset battery didn't work, and then to try out the BIOS function key I had to wait like a month before the keyboard stopped spamming so that I could actually make the change. But so far so good, nothing bad yet after the function key BIOS change. Fingers crossed as I had another time where it stopped the keystroke spam for…
  • Well, the bios, chipset and IO drivers are up to date. The problem went away after discontinuing use for a week. Then after a little over a month the problem has returned again. I stopped using it for a few days and the problem went away but the returned after an hour. Wife needs it for school. Any other suggestions I…
  • Thanks I flipped it and it comes off on easy. The connectors look good. Is there anything else I can do?
  • yes, that's the one, I feel like I'm about to break something trying to yank it off
  • Thanks, I disconnected the battery and I see what you're talking about in your first screenshot. I took out the fat black connector in the middle and it looks fine, no evidence of damage. For the one that starts on the upper right (in your screenshot) and crosses down left and under, how do I disconnect it? From the…
  • Thanks, I looked at the video and I do have the bottom pulled off like in his video, but I didn't see him talking about the keyboard (especially since I don't speak his language). Was there a specific point in his video where he talked about the keyboard connectors?
  • I just left warranty. I don't quite see what you have on your screenshot. I'm guessing that I have to take the motherboard out to be able to reach there? Or is there a shortcut so I don't have to disconnect everything and pull the motherboard off? I have the underside open, but that looks like the top side. Am I right?
  • The system BIOS version is V1.08
  • yes, it even occurs outside of windows while in the UEFI screen, do you know which motherboard connector leads to the keyboard?
  • it actually types it on it's own without you initiating anything. So like when you go into the login screen, you'll see the password box fill up with characters all on it's own before you press a key. It'll take your input too (sometimes at least), but it's also spamming it's own stuff in.
  • my keyboard is English/US
  • Sure, here it is SF315-52-52YN
