  • I have a VN7 791G running Windows 7 64 and the latest BIOS in legacy mode. If you can provide a bit more detail, I'd like to try and see if I can replicate the problem on my system.
  • Partial solution: the Aspire E5-571PG has Windows 7 drivers dated as recently as 2015 and shares a number of components with the 791G / 591G. Just ignore the video and bloated audio drivers (760MB? really?). It also comes with version 7 of the Launcher App. If anyone has an alternate solution, I'm open to suggestions.
