  • Thanks. Not able to boot from Ubuntu either.If USB is unsuccessfulk, disc would probably not work either. Is it possible to remove the HD and reapir it using another PC? If so , how should it be done?
  • Thanks, I tried to boot from the USB using Ubuntu OS, but it hung on a blank screen after the Boot from USB opotion was chosen.What does this indicate? Thanks.
  • Apologies, it should be: Thanks, but I am not able to get into the advanced option screen. I keep geeting into the second screen below after trying to reinstall the OS. I keep gettting this screen after pressing Del on booting up. If I do not press del, it loops to the screen below.

  • HI, Your solution requires logging into windows. As mentioned, Logging in stops halfway, cannot even log on in safe mode. I read in other forums, even the recovery disk or usb cannot run in this condition.Can you help?
