A cooling stand will maybe improve the temperature by 1-2 degrees. There are two other usefull ways to do it 1: Take it apart and change the cooling paste 2: Undervolt it

I had the same problem. Temperatures in the high 90’s(Celsius) for both cpu and gpu. First step: I changed the thermal paste and tightened the heatsink. That small step took 30 degrees off the max temperature. Second step: Undervolted by 0,120 v in XTU. That resulted in a further drop of 5-7 degrees. The cooling system is…

Nevertheless that is the case. I had to change the thermal paste due to high temperatures on both cpu and gpu, and to my surprise the battery was missing upon disassembly.
