Yes; microSD of course. I copied all my photos off the card and stuck it in the tablet. I was able to update the tablet and my photos were left untouched. Boo to Google and to Acer for this pathetic design. Never heard of a device that you can't update without extra Accesories.

If it is still flickering during its boot-up process, then I think its a hardware issue unfortunately I bought two of these for my kids for Christmas and ended up gifting only one. Thankfully I still had the other because the first one had a bubble in the screen. I…
