If there is then options vary from removing it and 1. using a 2.5" HDD-to-USB adapter cable/caddy and seeing if you can access the drive on another computer or 2. sending the HDD off for professional data rerieval.   • On same subject my P253 has died after 2.5 years. Symptom is screen flashes briefly at powerup and dvd drive makes a noise but nothing else happens. Could this be a bios failure? If so, how can I get the .fd from Q5WV1221.exe ? Cheers.
