  • A simple wall mount? Or a desk attached arm if the walll is to far. It is VESA compatible, so easy to mount. You can buy tem everywhere... [subject line edited to reflect new topic]
  • I think firmware can’t do anything for this monitor, it is probably the DP standard (1.2a) pushed near limit that is the issue, an/or AMD drivers...?
  • Interesting haven’t tried this, and when set to Extend I get this new page?!
  • Yes, well, haven't given much to it, considered it was a given to do so. I immediately reset mine (not going into sleep correctly), as to been recognized normally, monitor to OS and vice versa... It will probably not solve all the issues...
  • That is weird, you should set it only in the monitor settings...

  • @bjornland You did set the aspect ratio on the monotor, and not the PC?

  • Thanks for the reply, you have put me at ease, at least to some degree! Because having none of them for now (two weeks’ period), I can only hope it stays as is lol. Wow, how unfortunate you were unlucky two times! My condolences... Then for me remains to be seen if I have the flickering issue, but not until buying a new…
  • Since I still do not have a FreeSync compatible GPU (7970) and no issues of such for now (except the speaker’s sound with brightness below 60%), I wonder do they still occur if you turn FreeSync OFF?
  • This is a fix for XR341CKB the FreeSync version, you didn’t pay attention
  • Any news for the issues mentioned here? And will they be also addressed, or are they even acknowledged? Seems to me the XR341CK is beeing overshadowed by the X34 one issues (understandable-and probably hava way more users)... For the moment I only have the sound buzz from speakers at under 60% brightness issue. But not yet…
  • Absolutely true, and there is the G-sync module that may be at fault and/or causing it; and that cannot be the case in the FreeSync one. Well it is hart to tell from where the noise is being emitted. Maybe it is not the panel, but could be the module (it is positioned centraly at the back of the display), or...? Who knows!
  • @ CutterSlade Figured you have the X34, even if the title of the thread clearly says XR341CKB, you missed it. People seems to mix the X34 and the XR341CKB all the time in this forum, and even sometimes some of them not getting it is a "almost" totally different monitor (except the panel itself), even the OSD menu is and…
  • Oh yes, mine is the XR341CK FreeSync one. Is your the X34? If so maybe it is an whole other issue like the G-sync module fault..?
  • Probably some ugly frequency interference with the back-light DC control when brightness set under cca 50? I know coill whine from GPU, CPU (yes, had it!), and it is not like this, and it was clear (to my ears) to come from the speakers. Still, not deal breaking but annoying...
  • Put sound to 0 and no noise. The noise is from the speakers!
