  • If this is on a notebook, try hitting fn and the icon that shows disabling your touchpad. mine is on f7, but yours could be on a different f key. Also try plugging you mouse, if it is a usb mouse, into a different port while the pc is on. If it tries to install drivers again, there is something wrong with the other port.…
