  • Actually it is enough just to restart the service "Dolby DAX2 API Service" and the app will work again. I assume if you set the startup to delayed automatic instead of automatic it will make the app work after the service is started but it will make you lose dolby functionality for the time between bootup and service start…

It must be some initilaization problem since if you disable the sound driver and then reenable it it in device manager the Dolby app starts working, no need to reinstall the drivers.
