  • @bobbie42424: There is a fine line between stuff that can be and has to be lived with. Usually you don't pay 1000+ bucks to receive a flawed product you have to live with @brighttail : I wholeheartedly agree. This is not customer support, this is a farce. I bet that the one guy trying to help was fired.
  • @mikeke: If possible, I'd recommend returning the monitor. With how things are going, there probably won't ever be one. The issue was first reported in 2016 and we still are nowhere.
  • Unless it's an active converter it won't work. Displayport output (like from Graphics Card) to HDMI Monitor works, HDMI output to DP input won't (I tried connecting a DP Monitor to my 1080ti via DP to HDMI cable but it didn't work). The converter you found is probably similar to the cable I used.
  • HDMI on the Monitor is only HDMI 1.4 which only supports 4k@30. I guess the one x needs a 2.x compatible device to allow 4k. The Displayport on the Monitor supports 4k60 but I don't know if it's possible for a converter to go from HDMI out (console) to DP in (Monitor).
  • I wonder how long we have to wait this time to get a response. It's been 3 months since you allegedly received monitors with the issue (which would be every one but then you'd have to admit a general problem) and we haven't heard anything about it. Care to respond dear Acer staff?
  • Yes, convenient how 21 pages just went poof. Would be great to hear from them again after two months of silence.
