Thanks, I'll give it a try. My previous version was 1.10. I hope that it will be ok to downgrade to 1.09. I'm not aware but from what I understand in order to install UEFI I need a windows 8 installation USB/DVD? UPDATE: I just downgraded to 1.09. Still the same. I don't get it.

I use Windows 7, not 8.1 and I do not wish to reinstall as I have important files on my desktop right now, respectively on the SSD. I made a bootable flash drive with the intention to flash the bios from USB but couldnt find the right BIOS driver files to do so so I am stuck...

It doesn't appear in the boot priority list. Only the usual HD does. And I cannot boot the OS. That happened after I tried to update the BIOS. Before that it was alright so I am sure it is the driver.
