Thanks for this, I had the same issue as you, my event log was full of Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued Turning of the PCI Express setting also solved it. It's pretty disgraceful that this was happening with my Aspire E5-551 laptop straight from the box - didn't anyone at Acer test this?!
