yes i did. but if the laptop was properly shutdown, shouldn't the laptop startup normally when i turn it on? so i was thinking, this couldn't be a software issue. basically, the hardware is not getting the power to turn on. thanks for the help in advance.

acer took in for repairs already last year. still didnt fix it. but now im out of the country, so it is difficult to send it to them. the local acer support will charge since it's not in their system even still under warranty. i tried draining the battery all together. by letting the power button on all night, it seems to…
