Hello billsey, There is a setting on the chromebook to select audio output - it defaults to the monitor when the monitor is connected, but no audio. The OSD controls don't allow me to control the volume or any other setting relative to audio - they LOOK like they are supposed to but no combination of clicking or selecting…

Whoa, a 314 page quickstart guide! It does have the Fn keys documented as you say, however, about half of them don't do what they say. That's OK, I've got the ones that can render the laptop unusable, and that's what I care about - thanks!
