  • It only has 1 memory module. (4Gb). Which I cleaned, moved it from the upper to the lower slot. And I had another memory module laying around. Plugged that one in, both slots. Tried them together. But whatever the memory configuration, I keep getting the 4 beeps. That's why I think I can exclude that possibility

  • OK. Thx. That learns me that 4 beeps means "The system clock/timer IC has failed or there is a memory error in the first bank of memory". Given that I've already tried switching the memory module, that leaves us with system clock timer IC. And comes the obvious question: Where is that one located and can one change it??…
