I did install ELAN mouse pad driver for Windows 8 and could not configure any thing in Devices Properties because it was hidden (grey). I think it will work normally if I roll back Windows 7. Searching on google shows that ELAN mousepad is usually broken on Windows 8, especially in model V5-571.
