  • Try to download the latest driver, unistall the reader, disable it, restart your computer, then re-enable it and install the new drivers. See if this solves your problem...

  • Try to transfer the ethernet drivers to / from a flash drive to your computer to get it connected to the internet, then you can update all the other drivers.
  • My z5600 used to shut down all the time unexpectedly, took the computer apart, removed the cpu fan, and cleaned the cpu heat sink. Hasn't shut down unexpectedly since. Hope this helps...
  • I've tried recovery management to no avail. Like I said, I used a windows 7 disc, just to get windows to load again after the acer recovery failed numerous times.
