  • Hi Laurent_14 Thanks for the explaination. All of the previous post's info was gathered using cpu-z as I couldn't find it on my own. I updated my Bios to the latest version P-01.C2. Still no luck with the new sticks of ram. Looks like I'm returning them for a replacement set. Thanks for all of your help!

  • Put the WP bios jumper on "normal/default" Cleared the CMOS again. Plugged it all back in. And still no boot with the new cards. Put the old card in. We are booting and into the set up bios screens. Any other ideas- other than throwing these cards in the garbage can?'! Thanks for all of your help.
  • Hello again. My motherboard has both clr CMOS and bios wp jumpers. Bios WP is set to "write protect" Clr cmos jumper is set to "normal/default" I unplugged the motherboard battery and reset the CMOS jumper by placing the jumper on the opposite 2 pins which are "clear CMOS".
