  • I've solved it. I had to swap the main and aux wires on the card. One of them must have been faulty or burnt out I guess. Back to full connectivity. Thanks for all of your help though! I wouldn't have been able to solve it other wise.
  • I used that program you suggested. There are only 2 in the area, mine and someone elses. My wifi is showing excelent quality as well as being on a completely different channel to the other one. Also as I said I can pick up the wifi perfectly using a USB wifi reciever instead of the inbuilt atheros card.
  • No it was definitely not the first time I've moved it. It's always worked fine in my bedroom (the room with the router is downstairs from my room).   • Hi thanks for your quick reply. I have already taken it apart and it looks to me as though they are both firmly still attached to the card. Is there anyway of checking if there is damage somewhere else on the antennas?
