  • i even dissambled the laptop and removed the battery for 10 minutes and that still didnt fix the situation. i simply cannot access bios no matter what i do!!! the uefi option is gone and holding shift while restarting does not work. ill do whatever it takes to access bios....is there any other way?
  • holding shift while restarting did nothing. it booted up as usual.
  • I will try holding shift while restarting, but the UEFI option does not appear anywhere after the computer restarts into that menu. I have went down that road already by doing a google search on this issue. All of the other options are there except the EUFI option. thanks
