  • Oh sorry, the reason for mounting was to check outside of the machine that is was in fact faulty. I theoried it was already, the converter just helped me confirm it.
  • All good, found the M.2 SSD on the flip side of the mainboard. What a pain to locate! edit: mounted M.2 into SATA to M.2 converter. It's kaput. :(
