  • Thanks for your suggestion, but. The new disk that they sent me is not a set of recovery disks, it is a single disk that seems to be used with the original disks. I did that and got the same result.
  • If computer stops working after being on for several minutes, it is very likely to be a heat problem. Check to see that the fan is running. If not, try to clean it by blowing it out (gently). Or you may need a new fan.
