  • Those numbers are from the EDID of the monitor. The difference is that the EDID has it at 533.25 Mhz for 60hz. As far as I can tell, the only other 4K rate it supports is 24Hz. The modeline I gave is pretty specific to fixing the Intel onboard video on CPUs that can't do 4K x 60 Hz, but can do 4K x 24 Hz. I can't remember…
  • As far as I can tell, the monitor was first available for purchase in the US on October 9th, at Newegg. Here's the Acer shipping translation table I now use: Q1 -> Q3 Q2 -> Q4 Q3-> Q1 next year Q4 -> Q2 next year
