  • I suspect there will be an increase in February of companies as they're launching the 12s in Feb and likely a few others. The reason why I'm thinking this is because only the i7 has been offered so far with FHD screen and there are a lot of other variants (inlcuding QHD). On the bright side though Microcenter is offering…
  • Yeah that's about what I figured it would look like.... I guess in this instance not being springloaded actually is a benefit.. personally I'd just use the space as permanent storage so taking it out without tools doesn't bother me much. Is your 20mm card coming from China?
  • Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow and check back. I think RadioShack was bought out in the last year and partnered up with Sprint so the stores, around here at least, have moved away from a lot of the actual reasons I usually enter. Definitely worth a shot though.
  • I haven't tested the slot on the r14, specifically, but I can say that from the dimensions of the sd card "placeholder" that came with the r13, the "half-height" ones that market as raspberry pi expansions or macbook pro expansions have given dimensions which would still cause it to stick out a few millimeters. In the next…
  • I took a look at the video of the keyboard replacement - nice work. I'm still a few months out from following through with the Raid configuration but I'll probably be referring to your guide once I do.
  • I got the LE version with FHD screen... still loving it days after the review! I'm really loving the battery life but it's lasting so **bleep** long I haven't really cycled it more than twice (maybe 3) yet so I'm still waiting to get a definitive gauge on the battery (still estimate at least 8hrs). What about you? What…
  • Just thought I'd get back to you... bought it today. Microcenter is the only place in the US that carries it and they refused to show me a model the morning after i made my last post because there were only 2 in stock and they didn't want to "create" a display model. If you live in the PA area and decidde to go to the…
  • At the moment the only 372t listed in US is this one from the acer website: NX.G8SAA.001 It lists this under full specs: Number of USB 2.0 Ports1Number of USB 3.0 Ports2Total Number of USB Ports4 That leads me to believe it's a Thunderbolt 3 capable USB-C probably like the upcoming switch 12s I'm checking this version out…
  • Thanks that's what I thought :/
  • http://www.computeruniverse.net/info.asp?id=90625459 ID: 90625459, SKU: NT.G64EG.001 The SW5-014 XR came up with 4gb on this website. Maybe it's a typo but that's what I've been able to find. Everything the listings show on the acer websites for different countries have 2gb 64bit win with 32 and 64 gig eMMc. Lot's of the…
  • http://www.computeruniverse.net/products/90625459/acer-aspire-switch-10-v-sw5-014-16xr-4g.asp I came across this yesterday. I'm not sure if it was a mislabel after digging around the extra details and seeing some mixed info. As far as I've seen everywhere all the new Switch 10 V's (from germany, UK, and check republic…
