Woodser Troubleshooter

  • Hey! The next step is to take out the original system disk and install windows on the other disk, since the system won’t be able to be installed on the other disk unless the old system disk is removed. Thank you very much, I have liked all your posts and marked them helpful!
  • Ok, thank you. Whereas it says as in the below photo, I have already made backup of drive 0, will deleting the drive0 directly help?
  • If you are referring to the operation in the first 1:50, I don’t think I did that.
  • Oh...so you mean I can’t access the troubleshooting page by alt +f10 if I reinstall windows? Then is there any other ways to access the troubleshooting page after reinstall windows? Or will I be able to get it back after reinstalling?
  • What use does Recovery Partition makes?
  • Here’s what I have.
  • After click the repair option, I selected USB drive repair and it seems guide me to the same page?
  • Today, I get access to the PC that I borrowed to extract ISO file. The good news is, usb finally does worked! I can see the install page now. But there occurred new problems (I don’t know why this repair being so frustrating though). It firstly says “couldn’t create a new partition or locate and existing one”. I googled…
  • And I just now noticed that before I plug the pendrive(with extracted iso file) has 5.08G of data, but now after plugged and pulled, there’s just 736MB left. Is that normal?
  • I bought a new pendrive, now the pendrive appears on the boot list successfully. But I don’t know why when I was copying the extracted files from iso to pendrive, it says “path not found” for some file and failed to copy those. And that’s probably why it is still not working right now. Is it because I copied the files…
  • I’m not sure what rat is, but Sata is in ahci.
  • I might misunderstand your meaning, I was trying to install Windows, this is right. But the pendrive still not showing up in F12 page neither Bios... thus I can’t install Windows successfully right now.
  • Right.
  • I assume you are referring to this page, so no. In the picture, the pen drive is plugged into the PC.
  • I forgot to take picture just now, I did the same operation with the below photo, the only difference is I include the step “convert gpt” this time. And I got the same result. The “gpt” line comes out the result in the above post.
  • Here’s how it looks then.
