  • So after a whole lot of noise I have just received an e-mail from my CIO that acer is going to send someone over for a firmware update on all the machines that we recently purchased and that should resolve this issue. They could have just sent me the tool and I could have done it myself, or maybe they don't want to share…
  • I have tried the 64 bit of windows 7 & 8 Enterprise but still nothing. Strangely enough, I installed Windows 10 Professional and that installed succesfully it just does not activate. So I am about to contact Acer support and see if I can get a cd key or alternatively recovery media.
