  • I hope this helps someone coming after me. To restore I had to have 2/3 of the drives my PC came with pluged in. My PC came with a small solid state drive, a 2TB drive, and a 1TB removable drive. To get the e recovery to work I had to have the solid state and 2tb intrnal drives connected and the 1TB remobable drive…
  • Still no luck, this is getting very frustrating Acer. Now the e recovery wont start. [edited to comply with guidelines]
  • I am attempting erecovery again with my non system drives plugged in this time. Hopefully it wont over write my files.
  • Obtained Windows 8 recovery disk...No thanks to acer... but cannot repair issue with it. I tried Restore, Refresh, and repair startup issues, but all failed.
  • Shift + F8 is doing nothing.
  • The only hardware changes made was I unpluged the non-system hard drives so the restore would not over-write the files on them.
