  • You should connect the monitor to the graphics card that's located lower on the back of the desktop ( there are few horizontal slots). Usually if your desktop has a dedicated graphics card, then the onboard graphics card is disabled via bios and that's why that hdmi connector is covered. Hope that helped.
  • I would try installing and running ram test software to see if your ram ddr has no errors. If it does, replace the bad one. Also I recommend once it's crushing and reboots, go straight to the bios (usually by pressing del buttons on the keyboard before it boots to windows) and there you can see the processor heat.
