  • Hey could you tell me what steps did you take to fix it? Im having exactly the same problem - my SSD only showed up in legacy mode and after turning it back to UEFI I couldnt see it. Also I couldnt see it in windows harddrive manager.
  • Also since the SSD was recognized in legacy mode i dont think that the heatsink prevents anything physically and its just system problem.

In BIOS Ive changed the boot option from UEFI to LEGACY. after setting it to LEGACY I restarted the pc and got a black screen with 3 line of white text that would repeatedly say theres no bootable device. Reset again to open the BIOS and there I finally saw my SSD And HDD in boot priority…
  • Hello, thanks for your answer, yes the SSD does have a heatsink, but lets hypothesize a little. Ive tried it multiple times. At least once the connection should have worked.
