I changed my laptop's WiFi preferred band to 2.4 GHZ (reached via: Open Network and Sharing Centre --> Change your adapter setting --> Right clicked on Wifi network --> Properties --> Configure --> Advanced Tab -->…

Oops. Apologies if that is how it got conveyed. It's more like - I need to restart the modem/ router everytime to get good internet speed (otherwise the computer is still connected to the WiFi, but speed is very poor). During the session (say for 4-5 hour period), if there is no breaks, the internet continues to work well.…
