  • It turns out that it was a faulty cable, after all. Evidently both the cables I had tried were faulty, I tried one more out of desperation and it worked. I didn't go down the Acer call center route because the auto responder asked for the (alphanumeric) serial number to go on, so I had to check how to insert letters during…
  • Nothing stuck in the port. I already tried contacting Acer by message, they told me to call their contact center. Which takes a lot of time just to answer, I'll try again. Not a very good start for our relationship... Thank you very much for your answer, I appreciate it.
